One of the true tests of a mother's unconditional love is forgiving her son when he forgets to post, especially when she is away from home in a hotel room and has to get up at five o'clock to go birding with her group and was looking forward to starting the day by reading the blog. Another test is resisting the temptation to say something along the lines of "there are other days in the week, you could always post on Tuesday if you forgot to post on Monday." But a good mother would never do that. She would just forgive her son. That's what I did.
